Hanno Wessel is born in 1965 in the North of Germany.

After the studies at the « Ecole de la chambre syndicale de la couture Parisienne », he has worked in the Haute Couture for 3 years.

He launches his own brand HANNOH in 1994.

The debut collection met with immediate acclaim from both buyers and the international press, and is soon carried by prestigious boutiques such as Maria Luisa in Paris, Galeries Lafayette, Henri Bendel and Chiarivari in New York, as well as IF Soho.

HANNOH is now distributed in more than 120 selected stores worldwide.

In 2006 Hanno Wessel wins the “Paris Capital of Creation” price for his a/winter collection.

 

Since 2015, Hanno Wessel has founded a new company with experienced luxury manufacturers in Italy, to produce and distribute the brand H+HANNOH WESSEL.

 

H+HANNOH WESSEL is now entirely made in Italy, reflecting a deep respect for artisanal excellence and fabric authenticity; and for the designer himself, Italy is now a second home alongside Paris.

 

In 2017, the brand opened its own two bputiques, one in Paris in 32 rue Jacob,75006 Paris, St. Germain area; the other one in New York in 362 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn.
